My Story

From Australia to the Okanagan

I grew up in Australia and spent the better part of two decades in the motor car industry — running dealerships from 1996 through to 2010. After that I ran a telecommunications business for four years, which taught me a lot about people and pressure. Sales has always been my world. Real estate just turned out to be the best version of it.

How I ended up in West Kelowna is a story I love telling. I like to say I was hypnotized by a Canadian woman — and honestly, that's not far off. When it came time to figure out where to land, we looked at Edmonton first. That was a quick no from me. Not enough water, and way too cold for an Aussie. We looked at Vancouver too, but the market was already out of reach in 2014. Then we did a road trip through BC, stayed in Kelowna for a few days, and that was it. We were done looking.

We ended up on the Westside almost by accident. Bought a house in West Kelowna without a huge amount of homework — and the first time we drove down the hill from Glenrosa after getting possession, we discovered we had absolutely everything we could ever need right on our doorstep. Couldn't have planned it better if we'd tried. I haven't looked back once.

My daughter was born in Australia in 2014 — she was six weeks old when we landed in Canada. My son came along in 2016. We've been raising them on the Westside ever since, and I genuinely can't think of a better place to do it. It's family-oriented, the pace is slower than the Kelowna side, the outdoor lifestyle is right at your door, and the lake is five minutes from pretty much anywhere.

I got my real estate licence in 2015 and haven't looked back. What I get to do every day — meet someone new, build a real connection, and help them through one of the biggest decisions of their life — is something I find genuinely rewarding. First home buyers especially. There's something about that moment that never gets old.

What I bring is genuine connection. Not a sales pitch, not pressure — just someone who's good at what they do, enjoys the process, and genuinely wants you to end up somewhere you love. When you work with me, it's fun. That's the short version.

He's up to date with the market conditions and brings the best advise to the table. He doesn't blow smoke up your backside.
